No indications to find the hotel whatsoever and lack of staff
The riad was clean and secure, breakfast was included and the staff were lovely.
The shower in my room didn´t drain, otherwise it was a great stay and I wish I had have had more time to spend up on the terrace.
Excellent hotel. Service A+++. breakfast okay, room small but okay for city trip. Room and shower very clean. Only 10 minutes walking distance from central square which was easy to find. (first right, end of street left and straight ahead). Situated very quiet. taxi service from airport --> hotel and back well arranged. We eat there first evening which was also A+++. I don't think you will find a better hotel for these prices in this area.
Riad is about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main square Djemaa el Fna, which is to me really good. Maybe bit difficult to find. Central Marrakesh is really busy and noisy so we were surprised how quiet the the place was once we got there with help of local guy who was trying to sell us some hashish.
Once the waste pipe got blocked but problem was sorted by security guy right away.
The riad was small, but it was really nice and confortable. It is beautiful and the staff are the best. I had to make an interview for a job via Skype and they let me use their computer and they help me to install the software cause it was in arab. I really apreciate that; other way I could not do it. If you read that the place is not safe; forget it. If you arrive late in the night, you can take a taxi, it is cheap and the easiest way, but if you go walking, dont be afraid. And if you like eating; the breakfast is big and really good.
Adel the manager was very hospitable and helpfull he also has a good sense of humour and a lovely smile.
Its located in the souq and is and is a 10 minute walk from Jamaa lafna.
location, decor and arrangement of rooms round the central courtyard. The roof terrace was lovely but I didn't stay long enough to benefit from it.
I would like to have been able to purchase bottled water. The manager was very nice and helpful and had perfectly acceptable English, but when he couldn't understand something he said 'yes' therefore I was inadvertently misled on a couple of occasions. It was not clear that payment had not been taken when I made the booking on line, therefore I wasn't sure if I was being charged twice. 'Swimming pool' was a little ambitious for the central pool. There was not in-house hammam and massage.
nice riad ..clean room ..people are friendly and helpfull ...i like so mcuh the diner and the pool, it's btrue that it's no big but it's enough for refresh. I recomend strongly.
It was very hard to find the Riad, the area around it seemed very strange but it was not far from the main square.
The location in the website is completely wrong! We were searching for the riad in another part of the city, until we had to call the Riad. They know it is wrong and the guy didn't care. Don't trust the fotos.( Thats not a pool ). The Riad seemed badly taken care of, lot's of dust in the common areas. The guy asked us to pay in euros returned tha change in dirhams with a bad conversion.
Had good airconditioning. Bed was comfortable. Good lighting. Interesting bathroom. Nice hot water.
I was surprised that they requested we paid before we stayed. The pool was a waterfeature and not something to swim in. Breakfast was not good. Some of the staff seemed sad. Hard to find. The driver just dropped us off and that was it. Had to walk a long distance with luggage.
It is a very beautiful riad with excellent facilities. The staff is attentive and kind, and helped me navigate marrakech and book a trip to the sahara. The airport pickup went off perfectly and I absolutely recommend it. just eat the cost and get there in one piece without frustration.
It is a bit out of the way, which means its quiet but a wee bit dodgy at night for this solo female traveler. While nice, it is not as luxurious as its website and photos would have you believe.
Great place to stay - you really felt you were in the heart of everything. Helpful staff who gave us directions, booked taxis etc. Great Morrocan breakfast. It was very hot when we were there and the Riad was a cool haven - great shower and air conditioning. Lots of places to sit and chat at the end of a hot day.
Nice air conditioned room and great sun terrace. Very good breakfast. A very relaxing escape from the madness of the Medina. The pool is too small to swim in but good for cooling you feet.
The Riad, though not too far from Jemaa el-Fnaa is a bit difficult to find, down a dark alley if arriving at night any may require you to give the local kids a few coins for directions. If arriving at night the security guard speaks only french and is a bit impatient if you don't understand him.
Cosy Hotel. Only 5 rooms. 10 min walking from Jaamal el Fna Square.
Located in a narrow street. Difficult to find the hotel without help.
The relation price/quality is excellent. The location of the Riad is great, in a very typical area inside the medina, very near Jamal El Fna. The staff is nice and polite. The Riad is beautiful and very clean.
Mattress is too soft and the walls are thin.
